HUD/FHA Foundation Certifications
Fast, compliant foundation certifications for manufactured homes in Georgia & Tennessee
Buying or Selling a Manufactured Home?
If you’re involved in the sale, purchase, or refinancing of a manufactured or mobile home, and the loan is through FHA, VA, USDA, or Conventional programs, a HUD-compliant foundation certification is often required.
At American Home Inspections & Maintenance, we streamline this process by working directly with a licensed professional engineer to provide permanent foundation certifications that meet all HUD and lender requirements.
What Is a HUD Foundation Certification?
A HUD foundation certification verifies that a manufactured home is permanently affixed to its foundation in accordance with HUD’s Permanent Foundation Guide for Manufactured Housing (1996). This is required by lenders for government-backed loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional Loans (in many cases).
Lenders will not close the loan without this document.
